When you are visiting our beautiful peninsula - Shelley Point - on the West Coast, The Best Coast, we can definitely recommend a few places where to fill those hungry stomachs - or maybe to quench your thirst.

In the new Country Club & Spa on the first floor, you will find the IL VENEZIA RISTORANTE. It sounds like Italian yes, but they do have about anything and everything on their menu. Seafood, meat, poultry and yes, lovely pizzas and pastas as well. This restaurant opened in September 2007, so they are still very new, but wow, for the steak lover, definitely worth visiting! The rest as well!

And then if you in the mood for a 15km drive, we can also recommend some restaurants / bistros in the well known town called Paternoster. Whether you want to be on the beach, or a view over the Atlantic Ocean or maybe tucked away with great company and atmosphere, here you will find them all. Like the quaint little restaurant called THE NOISY OYSTER - definitely worth visiting.

Then further you will find Langebaan with all it's restaurants, boma restaurant on the beach, etc. - towards the other side, Velddrif and Laaiplek.
